As a cat show judge, I have an in-depth understanding of breed standards and what makes a truly exceptional British Shorthair. My cats are not just family companionsâthey are also show-quality British Shorthairs, and I proudly exhibit them extensively across Australia. This commitment to showing ensures that my breeding program consistently meets the highest standards of health, temperament, and conformation. Monty - Blue British Shorthair
After a lot of researching different British Shorthair breeders in Australia we chose Cuddletonâs. We were on the waiting list for about one year and the wait was worth it. When Monty was 8 weeks old Pamela invited us to her home so we could meet him.
It was so nice to see him in the room with his Mum and siblings. Monty came home when he was 12/13 weeks old after heâd had âthe snipâ and his vaccinations. Pamela was so thorough in the handover and told us that she was always available for anything. Pamela has become a surrogate grandma when Monty goes to have staycations with her.
As for Monty; he is affectionate when he wants, he is aloof when he wants, he will sit on my husbandâs knee when he wants, he will sleep on my side of the bed when he wants, and generally he loves hanging around us to see what weâre up to. He is harnessed trained so he can come outside with us or on a camping trip which he loves. He has a fantastic nature and is very easy going.
We love all the Cuddleton cats and would love another, but unfortunately Monty is a single fur baby as there is not room in our current camping setup for another.đïž

Our Cuddletons each have their own unique personalities, but they all share a gentle, sweet-natured temperamentâa testament to the love and care they receive. Itâs clear that every Cuddleton is raised as part of the family for life, and weâre so grateful to Pamela for her dedication and expertise.

We have two Cuddletons, that makes four BSH we have had now, and our two babies Max and Maggie bring such joy to us as they are both so happy and loving and healthy. They travel in the caravan with us when we go somewhere and as long as we we are around they are happy campers. Inside ones of course.

My husband and I made the decision to get ourselves a family pet, with British Shorthair cats being on our shortlist. We looked into breeders available in Western Australia and found Cuddletons.
Pamela and Damien have such an incredible program where they breed the most gorgeous cats that are well loved and most importantly perfectly reared to be family cats. Pamela keeps the kittens up to 12 weeks to ensure they are well prepared to enter a home, this is such a great aspect of adopting a kitten.
We got ourselves Eleanor as a kitten, and she instantly bought joy to our home, joy that we didn't realise was missing. Then, one year later we bought home Helga, Eleanor's litter sister.
And then two more years later we became a trippleton family bringing home Gunther, Helga's son. đââŹ
We couldn't imagine our lives without our Cuddletons, they're the most incredible fur babies.
