Meet the beautiful British Shorthairs breeding cats at Cuddleton. The mummy and daddy cats to my kittens. My cats are healthy, happy and very much loved.
My breeding values
As the breeder behind Cuddleton British Shorthairs, I use my experience and knowledge of the breed to make careful decisions about every mating. Health, temperament and conformation all matter to me, and my aim is always to keep improving the quality of the British Shorthairs I breed.
Most importantly, I care about the long term wellbeing of every kitten I produce. I want my cats to be excellent examples of the breed, but I also want them to be friendly, strong, confident and well raised so they can become much loved members of their families.
I DNA test my breeding cats for all known heritable diseases when they join my breeding programme. This ensures every Cuddleton kitten has the best possible start to a long, healthy life.
My Boys
My beautiful Cuddleton British Shorthair Stud Cats
These very special boys are my stud cats. They are the fathers of my beautiful British Shorthair kittens. Some of these cats I have bred myself and some I have been so lucky to have adopted from other breeders.
Keeping stud cats is not easy. They can be noisy and they love to pee on things. This is why I have very big, custom made cattery runs for them. I love all of my boys so much and just want them to have the best lives that I can give them.
Toby
Toby is a beautiful boy from Belgium. I am so grateful to his lovely breeder Dieter for going through the difficult importation process in order to have Toby come to me. He is so much fun and has beautiful, friendly kittens. Toby is a lilac bicolor.
Blizzy
Blizzy is from China but came to me from a breeder in Australia. He has a bit of a backstory but since arriving he has been flourishing, winning at shows and giving me stunning kittens. Blizzy is Blue.
Cuthbert
Cuthberth is a fabulous cat. He is so friendly and relaxed with a goofy attitude. Such a pleasure to own and great company for his buddy Reggie. Cuthbert is a lilac bicolor carrying cinnamon.
Reggie
Reggie is such a great stud cat. He is quite the ladies man but also very happy living with his bestie Cuthbert. He is cinnamon so a little bit special. His coat is a stunning colour.
Larry
Larry is such a cutie. He is going to grow up to be a stud cat. He is very playful and happy which is just the kind of temperament I want to pass on to my kittens. Larry is chocolate and he carries cinnamon.
Sebastian
Sebastian is super smoochy and friendly. He comes running to rub up against your legs and has a purr that is super loud. He is just an adorable little man. He has already won ribbons in the kitten class at shows.
My Girls
I absolutely love my British Shorthair queens. They are beautiful girls. I have been lucky to have adopted some of my girls from other breeders but most are girls I have bred myself. Many come from a long line of Cuddletons.
My girls live in my custom built, climate controlled cattery with lots to see and do including watching tv! They come into my home when they are pregnant and they raise their babies there till they are twelve weeks old. Most of my girls do retire early from breeding as I want them to go on to be pet cats and have a really good life.
Jessie
Jessie is a stunning cat. She comes from my well established blue line which traces right back to my first stud cat Jackie and my second breeding queen Rosie. Jessie is blue and carries cinnamon.
Gerta
Say hi to Gerta. This cutie has a German mum and a Malaysian father so she is a little bit special (and very sweet). Gerta is a cinnamon.
Jimmy
Jimmy is a blue kitten.
Trixie
Trixie is a little ball of fun. She is super playful and very affectionate. Her favourite thing is to give you kisses and attention. I love that she passes that on to her kittens. She is a van which means all of her kittens will have white.
Daphne
Daphne is such a gorgeous pudding of a cat. She is so plush and hubby like a eddy bear. She is Jessie's daughter and has her mums beautiful nature. I love her. She carries cinnamon.
Health standards
Health is the foundation of the Cuddleton breeding programme. I DNA test all my breeding cats for known heritable diseases when they join the programme.
